Nomce "Nick" Trposki

Founder & Clinical Director

Nick Trposki is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist and the founder of Talk-Talk Speech and Language Services. He is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and holds a degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Belgrade.

With over 30 years of diverse clinical experience, Nick has worked in hospitals, private schools, community settings, and private practice. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, and families develop the communication skills they need to succeed at home, in school, at work, and within their communities.

Nick is known for developing highly individualized therapy programs that build upon each client’s unique strengths, interests, and abilities while targeting meaningful communication goals. His approach combines evidence-based practice with creativity, compassion, and strong collaboration with families and other professionals.

Nick has extensive experience assessing and treating individuals with a wide range of communication needs, including speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental language disorder, learning disabilities, phonological disorders, social communication challenges, and other developmental delays. He also has extensive experience supporting individuals who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, as well as individuals with stuttering and social-pragmatic communication difficulties. His clinical interests include autism, ADHD, AAC, social communication, language development, and family-centered intervention.

While Nick has enjoyed working with children and adolescents throughout his career, he also finds great fulfillment in supporting adults with acquired communication disorders. He has worked with individuals recovering from stroke and neurological conditions, helping them restore communication skills, maximize independence, and improve their quality of life.

Working closely with families, educators, physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, behaviour analysts, and other healthcare professionals is a cornerstone of Nick’s clinical philosophy. He believes that strong therapeutic partnerships and collaborative care are essential for achieving positive and meaningful outcomes.

Through Talk-Talk Speech and Language Services, Nick and his team are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based assessment, consultation, and intervention services that empower individuals to communicate confidently and participate fully in everyday life.

Nick is fluent in English, Macedonian, Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, and Bulgarian, allowing him to support individuals and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Communicative Disorders Assistant

Shereen Elsayed is an experienced Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) with over 27 years of experience supporting children and adults with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. She has extensive experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex communication needs, with particular interests in language development and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Working under the supervision of Speech-Language Pathologists, Shereen assists in the implementation of individualized therapy programs designed to support each client’s unique communication goals. She is experienced in using a variety of AAC systems, including TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, LAMP Words for Life, Snap + Core First, Tobii Dynavox, Boardmaker, and PECS.

Shereen has extensive experience supporting children with diverse communication profiles and works collaboratively with families and clinicians to promote meaningful, functional communication. She utilizes neurodiversity-affirming practices and strives to create supportive, engaging, and individualized learning environments for each client.

She has a strong interest in creating individualized communication resources, visual supports, and language-learning materials tailored to each client’s strengths, interests, and learning style. Her approach emphasizes engagement, connection, and building communication skills within meaningful everyday interactions.

Known for her warmth, creativity, patience, and collaborative nature, Shereen strives to create positive and engaging therapy experiences that foster confidence, independence, and meaningful communication. She is dedicated to helping individuals develop functional communication skills, strengthen social connections, and participate more fully in their home, school, and community environments.

Ivana Djordjevic

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) – Support Personnel

Ivana Djordjevic is a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience supporting children and youth with a wide range of communication, developmental, and learning needs in both Europe and Canada.

Working under the supervision of Speech-Language Pathologists, Ivana supports the implementation of individualized therapy programs for children and adolescents aged 2 to 18 years. She has experience working with a variety of communication needs, including speech and language development, social communication, early literacy, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and developmental support.

Ivana collaborates closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to help children achieve meaningful communication and developmental goals. Her professional interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), early language development, social communication, AAC, play-based intervention, school-aged language skills, and family-centered care.

Ivana brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her work and is dedicated to providing individualized, engaging, and evidence-informed support. She is committed to ongoing professional learning and continues to expand her knowledge and skills through continuing education and specialized training opportunities.

Fluent in both Serbian and English, Ivana enjoys supporting children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She is committed to providing culturally responsive and individualized care and looks forward to helping children develop the communication skills they need to connect, participate, and thrive in their everyday lives.

Communicative Disorders Assistant

Vanessa is a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) with a background in Psychology and a passion for supporting children with speech, language, literacy, and social communication needs. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Trent University and further specialized in the field by earning her Graduate Certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant Studies from Durham College.

Her interest in speech therapy began at a young age when her sister received speech-language services, sparking a curiosity about communication and the ways individuals learn and connect with others. This experience inspired her to explore the brain and human behavior through psychology while also nurturing her lifelong passion for the arts. Vanessa enjoys incorporating creative elements such as colouring, painting, music, and play-based activities into therapy sessions when appropriate, blending evidence-based intervention with engaging and meaningful experiences for her clients.

Working under the supervision of Speech-Language Pathologists, Vanessa provides individualized, family-centered intervention tailored to each child’s unique strengths and goals. She is committed to fostering confidence, meaningful communication, and positive connections while collaborating closely with families and other professionals to support each child’s success. By combining her interests in psychology, creativity, and communication, she strives to bring something unique and engaging to every therapy session.

We believe a clinical practice is incomplete if it merely provides treatment; it must also be directly involved in research, education, and political advocacy.

In order for our clients to become confident members of their communities they must not only be able to communicate – they must be able to make themselves understood. It is our goal to open the lines of communication among clients, family members, and other members of each client’s network to ensure this success.

Our team and extended professional network include occupational, physical and speech therapists, a psychologist/family coach, audiologists and education specialists. They have years of experience and advanced certifications in multiple disciplines.
